Your GP is no longer the first port of contact for urine infections (UTI). If you are female and aged between 16-65 and think you may have a urinary tract infection you should now contact your nearest pharmacy where they will provide you with the necessary treatment.
Your local Pharmacy can also give you expert advice on minor ailments e.g. coughs and colds, sore throats, sickness and diarrhoea, head lice, conjunctivitis and cold sores etc.
